Golf at Sherwood with NCAA Golf Champion – First Tee of Los Angeles

Charity golf tournament at Sherwood Country Club benefiting The First Tee of Los Angeles. Spectacular golf course on one of the finest tracks in the country. This is where Tiger Woods held his event for many years and has hosted many PGA tour players. I also got to play with NCAA Golf Champion now actor Jesse Ruda.

How To Build Your Own Golf Hitting Net

This is my backyard golf swing net. It’s 10′ x 30′. Each section is 10′ x 10′. I used 2″ PVC piping for the 4 support poles with 7′ yard stakes hammered into the ground inside them. I used 1.5″ PVC pipes for the 4 poles running across the top and bottom of the structure. The rest of the structure consists of some PVC “T” pieces, elbows and adapters. You can custom this part for your specific space. Then just add some high-impact netting and you’re pretty much good to go.

How to Play 18 Holes in 1 Hour for less than $10

I personally will use this to play at least 36 holes with a large bucket of range balls.

This is something I often do especially when I am prepping for a tournament and can’t spend hours playing actual practice rounds. Surprising how well it works even on courses I have never played before.

Give it a try and let me know how it works.
