Rahm Cleans Up in the Desert at CareerBuilder Challenge

Jon Rahm takes the crown after a four hold playoff against Andrew Landry who birdied the 72nd hole to force a playoff.

Without a birdie on a par 5 today you would think that Rahm would not walk away with the win, but with a bogey free round of 67 Rahm had enough to get the title.

Sad day for Landry who’s wife is due with their first child in March. But with baby Brooks on the way they will have a lot to celebrate and a great future ahead on and off the course.

With this win Rahm will move to number 2 on the official world golf rankings and head to Torrey Pines next week to defend his Farmers Insurance Open title. Looks like he will have a lot of confidence to take down the road with him and I’m sure he will clean up his game enough to defend his title.

I got his girlfriend’s reaction to his win on video and it’s a cool scene.
